Day 4
July 30, 2018 - Monday: San Ignacio
Figure 1: After checking out of duPlooy's, we traveled to the Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave, where we were not allowed to take pictures because the tour guides wanted people to enjoy the natural beauty of the cave and surrounding areas, instead of paying attention to their cameras or phones. We had to walk through the forest, wade through rivers, and take a short swim to get to this cave, which was filled with beautiful geological formations and untouched ancient Mayan artifacts.
